Here is the newest addition to our list of completed projects…Iowa Bike & Fitness in downtown Pella, Iowa. Our crews just finished up this week. This was a combination tear off and recover. We installed the Duro Last Roofing System on this project which comes with a 15 yr. Warranty.

Koopman Safety Training Day

Today and tomorrow the staff at Koopman Roofing is being certified in CPR and basic first aid training. We are glad be be working with the Occupational Health staff at the Pella Regional Health Center for this invaluable training. The training is obviously valuable in the event of a work related emergency, but the training will also be valuable for our employees and their families. Our first group went through today and had a wonderful experience. The rest of us are looking forward to the training tomorrow.

RhinoBond Roof Attachment System

In order to stay on the cutting edge of roofing trends, we’ve invested in RhinoBond roof attachment system. The RhinoBond system uses the same fastener and plate to secure both the insulation and the membrane to the deck without penetrating the roofing material. The result is a Factory Mutual-approved system that does not create any point of entry for moisture, requires fewer fasteners and provides superior wind uplift performance.

What does this really mean? 1.) Bring on the high winds 2.) Bring on the rain and snow.

Pella Community Center

Re-Roofing project completed at the Pella Community Center in Pella, IA using the Duro-Last Roofing System. The 2,900 sq ft project was completed on the back half of the second story.

Drake Diner

Re-roofing project completed at the historic Drake Diner. The 5,500 sq.ft. roofing project was made more difficult because of the mirror finish, curved roof line, and the extensive amount of neon tubes around the perimeter of the building. Stop in and check out the great food and electric atmosphere of the Drake Diner.

Knoxville City Hall and Rec Center Project

We’re pleased to begin work on the re-roofing projects for Knoxville City Hall and the Knoxville Rec Center. Our staff and crews are thankful for the opportunity provided by the community we live in and serve in. We expect this project to last 6-7 weeks, however, Iowa weather can change that in the matter of minutes. Stay posted on our progress.
